Bicycle shirt

I haven't been riding my bike this summer - too hot and too sunny. Instead, I've been doing lots of home sewing.. my skill level has increased as well as my weight. :(

It is getting cooler again with cloudy mornings so I plan to go for more rides... maybe wearing this!

  1. yes i agree, it's too hot in So Cal for a bike ride and you're so exposed. Not a lot of shade. I can't wait for fall. But even in the fall it's sunny but at least it's not scorching hot.

    1. Yeah, I wear spf 50 everyday. It's annoying... I miss clouds! When I first moved here, I was kind of shocked that people didn't ride all the time, but now I get it. No trees, no shade, skin cancer, ugh.

  2. Nice to hear from you again, Alicia.
I spent a week in Leiden in June with my Brompton on the basis of your implied recommendation. Very classy and friendly.

  4. Honking classes fully incorporate high intensity interval training (HIIT), scientifically proven to be the most effective way to burn fat. HIIT maximizes your workout by doing short periods of high intensity work, followed by a less intense recovery period. Honking burns an average of 500 – 700 calories per action-packed workout, and more significantly, causes the body to continue burning calories long after the workout without experiencing lower back pain or joint discomfort. In comparison to continuous, lower intensity activity, sprint intervals create a significantly greater increase in excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), and the added calories that accompany the increase in metabolism. This increased metabolic rate associated with EPOC is the primary contributing factor to the success of HIIT for weight loss. Mixed with other modalities like TRX and weight training, honking classes offer a much more effective workout in the shortest amount of time than any other cardio training for a wide variety of clients ranging from healthy young to middle age adults with advance fitness level to those with physical limitations or injuries coming from rehabilitation services.
