Well, I found this blog reading Vogelvrije Fietser; and I read there how many people are amazed that so many Dutch bike around in the snow. Well, that is not for everyone: I am Dutch, I bike quite a lot, but when there is snow: I know where the snow will be removed, and where there will be enough salt on the road to bike safely. Where the snow still is on the streets, I take my bike by the hand, and I walk: too scared that I will fall!
