I've posted pictures of "
his & hers"
bicycle pairs a few times, but my labeling was lazy. After all, they might be "his and his" or "hers and hers" or "hers and his" bicycle pairs. This is the Netherlands....
It's the
pairing and
coupling of bicycles that I find interesting. And cute.
Just ride whatever makes you happy with whomever makes you happy.
(And park next to each other, please.)
Lovely =)
ReplyDeleteNobike wants to be left outside alone.
They are very sensual machines.
Looks like they were couples strolling along the gracht. And the Bromptons are probably tourists.
And a priest bike too. Do you get them often? I've never seen one.
Dahon dankt :-).
DeleteThe priest bike is a rarity in that it is an Achielle. If you see them at all they are mostly Azors (which have an Achielle frame).
There's a gorgeous old priest bicycle parked around the corner from me. I think it belongs to a guy who has a bat'leth hanging on his wall (ground floor apartment, i can see inside!) I'll take a picture...
DeleteAha, Dahons they are. You have an eye for frames, Frits.
DeleteHey Alicia. Yes, please take that picture, sounds interesting. A cycling girl who knows the sword of Kahless. I am intrigued =)
This is such a sweet blog, keep them coming :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely! My bike feels alone, since it can be folded I always bring it inside.
ReplyDeleteHi Montague bikes! I haven't had a comment from you in a while. How's business? The frameset / custom build is a great idea... get another bicycle and then they'll have company.
