It's such a cool photo, and it makes me wonder: do places like this fill up with cyclists leaving at a particular time, at the end of the day? And what's it look like empty, if it ever is?
You should print a mural-sized poster with it at like 150dpi and put it up somewhere in Leiden :)I don't know if I'd want a huge print of it, but I'd be happy to do a photo print exchange at normal sizes one might hang in their home, if there are any photos of mine you'd be interested in :) (and if not, my feelings won't be hurt)
Combines nicely with this article:http://bicycledutch.wordpress.com/2012/04/02/bicycle-parking-restrictions-in-the-netherlands/:-)
It's never empty! They have to weed it occasionally. Dave, I'd love to do an exchange. It won't be hard to find a photo from you that i'd like to have on my wall! :) Yes, that article by Mark is very timely- I just saw some strange signs posted on bicycles in Nijmegen that may be part of the same sentiment. I took one and will scan it!
Awesome - so pick a photo of mine and let me know - for 35mm, I can get prints at 4x6 or 6x9 (inches) 4x4 or 5x5 for 120 film. Let me know which you'd like, and then print this one out for me :) We can exchange addresses and such by email :)
Great! I'll let you know- it may be a few more weeks... Sloooow. Sorry. :)
No worries :)
Can I get in on the photo exchange as well? Just like Dave, I will not be offended if you want to take some time to find a photo you like and/or can't find one in the end. Most of my photos on Flickr are large enough to make good looking prints for any size you'd have on a wall. Let me know if you find something you like and we can talk about print sizes.Cheers!
Hi Will!Yes, please. That would be fun! I'll take a look and get back to you- I"m a bit slow sometimes. :) Cool.
