Bicycle limbo

In Amsterdam on Monday, my friends and I came to a strange scene. A boat had become stuck halfway under a bridge!
Either the boat tried to go under the bridge despite being too tall, or the drawbridge malfunctioned and fell upon the boat as it moved through...
The safety bars were down and the hazard lights were on to stop street traffic. The drawbridge was slightly uneven, up about 2 inches on one side. There was a maintenance truck with workers, a bridge attendant, the boat owners and a news crew on hand.
This did not stop the cyclists!
When a critical mass of people lost patience with waiting, it seemed safe enough to cross and duck under the safety bars.

Limbo knees on the ground! Bad form!
