We made pie. Pompoen pie met nootmuskaat and gemberwortel.
The crust was boter en pantent bloem. My friends taught me how to make pies over the last few years. Yes, it takes that long to feel masterful. Even still, I burnt an edge a little bit. I blame the new oven.
But, Thank you Evonne and Emma for your wonderful pie days!

Steaming the pompoen orange. I wasn't sure it would taste like an American sugar pumpkin, but it does. Yum!

Here's the pie. It's cooling! I can't wait to eat it.

Whipping cream.

 Wow, it's delicious.  Dutch boter rules!!

 Oh, and I did not bring a rolling pin with me. I used this :)
